Welcome to ACCHomes

We are an outstanding Ofsted rated children's care home provider for emotional behaviour difficulties. Our care homes include a bespoke package for each child; facilitating their mental, emotional and physical needs in a PACE modelled therapeutic family environment. ACCHomes boast 4 therapeutic residential children care homes with fantastic outcomes for the children and successful transitions to home, foster and independent living.
Ethos
Committed to Caring
Everyone wants a home. Life can be challenging and young people are usually but not always victims of circumstance. ACCHomes is here to help and facilitate a PACE centred environment that is nurturing, productive and healthy for mind, body, and spirit. We listen to the needs of our residents in order to understand what works best for the young person.
ACCHomes boasts four residential care homes; Ashwood House, Alderwood House, Amberwood House and Applewood House. First three are four bedded properties catering to the needs of children experiencing emotional and behaviour difficulties. Applewood House is a 2 bedded detached bungalow with easy wheelchair accessibility.
We are committed to the safeguarding to our children and have six designated safeguarding officers which ensures whoever on call is a designated safeguarding officer (DSO). All adults follow our robust safeguarding policy and we follow an intense safer recruitment procedure before allowing adults to join our team.

ACCHomes provides the support that young people and their families require, including Medication Monitoring services, which we are more than happy to offer. Our staff are trained in giving medication, our directors are medical doctors and have created bespoke drug charts to help dispense and monitor medication, including control drugs if ever needed.
Counseling
Nourish Your Soul and Mind
Many of our residents at ACCHomes require some degree of health and well-being monitoring. The company is PACE trained and our care homes provide counselling services for all our young people. By catering to the personal needs of each resident, we go just one step further to make everyone feel like they’re truly at home at ACCHomes. Our in house psychotherapist provides integrative psychotherapy. This includes CBT, life-story work, attachment theory, trauma focused techniques and therapeutic play with a focus on child psychotherapy. Contact us for more details and will be happy to provide you with a brochure of the therapy offered.
Extracurricular activities
New Life Opportunities
Throughout the year, we provide our residents with extracurricular activities at ACCHomes. It’s just one of the things that sets our Care Home apart from the rest. We’re passionate about providing opportunities for our residents to make new memories and friends while enjoying our services. Activities can vary from season to season but some are year long such as horse riding, cadets, football etc.
